The Green Book Project Website
Challenge
Some busy brides/grooms hire a wedding planner to organize their big event.
However, for the busy bride/groom wanting to plan their own event (or just wanting to be more organized as they interface with their wedding planner) this website will provide everything they need to stay on track.
Solution
This website provides the budget minded bride or groom a way to find vendors and venues easily by allowing filtering by price before requesting a quote.

Challenge
The founder of The Green Book Project was under a time crunch when he first built out the company web page. So, he had to settle for a MVP, which meant putting some elements of the About page on the Home page.
Goal
-
Pay back this tech debt
-
Improve SEO
-
Provide more information about company and staff
Solution
Create a separate web page for information about The Green Book Project--- an About page.

Due to confidentiality concerns, the complete case study cannot be published here.
My Role
UX Designer, Research Designer and Visual Designer
Responsibilities
Conducting interviews (w/SME), paper and digital wireframing, low and high-fidelity prototyping, accounting for accessibility and iterating on designs.
Project duration
April 2022
Paper Wireframes
Wireframes

We had decided on a simple layout for the About page which would include a paragraph or two about The Green Book Project and then bios with pictures of each of the four staff members.

Digital Wireframes
I created a digital wireframe from the paper wireframe. I was the content writer for the Guide page, so I wanted to have a similar information architecture on this page.

Mockups
I created mockups of the page, with the intent of making it look similar to the Guide page.
After getting feedback, I changed the design according to the new specifications. There were several iterations. The final iteration included adding more white space and segmenting the pictures and text rather than using the pictures as backgrounds.

Mobile Version
After I completed the website version, my supervisor asked me to create a mobile version.
