I taught myself web design to create a Christmas website I used to publish each year. Then, in grad school, I sharpened those skills. I have enjoyed the contract jobs (some paid, some pro bono) designing sites for friends and family. I have also created sites for corporate staff training at The Green Book Project and System Pavers.
Vacation Rental Booking Site
My sister and I built a tiny house in a tiny house community as a rental property in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee. ​

We wanted a site that had clean minimalist lines and that provided information on the house and the nearby attractions, eateries, etc. Guests can book their stay through the linked portal.
Fitness Website
I created this website for a client who is a fitness and nutrition coach.
She wanted a site with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. ​

She also asked for a feed that linked to her Instagram account and a contact form for potential clients.
Insurance Agency
I am currently building a website for a client who is an insurance agent. ​

Christmas Website
An Advent Celebration is a multicultural celebration of Christmas traditions and recipes from around the world.

I updated this site every day during the four weeks of Advent, for over 10 years. The site is still live, but was retired in 2021.

I created this website for my son a few years ago when he was looking to change jobs.

He was successful in his quest and is happily employed in operations management.
