• Construction Manager training courses were long and Instructor Led 

• Needed asynchronous training for Construction Managers (CMs)

Solution: 

• Created three eLearning courses 

• Course 1: Converted 1.5 hr. live training to 17 min interactive eLearning with Adobe Captivate

• Course 2: Converted 30 min synchronous training to 7 min asynchronous training with Camtasia 

• Course 3: Converted 1 hr. live training to 12 min eLearning course with Camtasia

• Reduced CM total course time by 80%

Approach:

• SME provided the recording from a live training session (course 1)

  • This training required detailed math calculations, so it needed an interactive eLearning solution; used Adobe Captivate​

  • ​Use AI generated voice over

• SME provided PPT from ILT training (course 2).

  • This was a best practices overview, no interactivity required; created in Camtasia​

• SME provided the recording from live training session (course 3)

  • This was a demonstration that did not require interactivity; produced in Camtasia 

• Created PDFs of the referenced CM documents.

• Created assessments

• Uploaded MP4s, SCORM, PDFs and assessments to the LMS
